An IT Technology Solutions company based in Midrand has a vacancy available for a Marketing Specialist for an initial 4-month contract to go permanent, who will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of the company with a focus on improving their return on investment using Social Media. The ideal candidate will be fluent in all aspects of social media and will be able to analyze data to inform strategy and decision-making for the benefit of the client. A high degree of initiative, dedication, and enthusiasm is required along with a thirst for knowledge in the Social Media arena.
(Hybrid working model with benefits as part of the monthly CTC after completion of the initial 4-month contract period)
Responsibilities:
- Strategize, execute, and refine integrated marketing campaigns across diverse channels, including social media, email, and events, to generate leads and nurture prospects.
- Conducting market research and analyzing data to identify potential target audiences, industries, personas, market trends, and competitors.
- Lead the creation of content for B2B audiences including whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and presentations, and exhibit thought leadership to drive engagement.
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to lead the development of sales enablement materials and other collateral that can also be tailored for social media distribution.
- Lead market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges within the B2B landscape, and implement findings into strategies and tactics.
- Perform ongoing tracking and reporting on B2B marketing initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12 essential
- Relevant Marketing Qualifications/Certifications
- At least 4+ years of experience in social media content and community management
- At least 2 years of experience in search engine marketing
- An extensive understanding of all facets of B2B Marketing including campaigns, email, social media, events, Account Marketing
- Demand Generation and Lead Conversion
- Understanding of search engine optimization techniques, both on-site and off-site
- Previous experience and a proven track record of obtaining results from digital campaigns
- Previous experience and a proven track record of obtaining results from both SEO and SEM campaigns
- Experience delivering across a wide range of social media channels and campaigns
- Experience with Digital Marketing (Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Google Webmaster tools are essential, and knowledge of other platforms is advantageous)
- Strong experience using Microsoft Excel for reporting, data analysis, and reformatting of data
- A working knowledge of WordPress
- Knowledge of Click Dimensions is advantageous
