This role isoffice-based, operating a call centre. The incumbent responds to electronic, telephone, email or fax enquiries, orders and complaints about product, which are transferred onto the ordering system. The orders are then processed, and the relevant paperwork sent out.
KPA's:
- Operate call-centre to receive and optimise orders;
- Co-ordinate ordering of product;
- Manage and communicate any order changes via operating system;
- Compile daily preliminary Delivery Schedules with maximizing vehicle utilization and submit to the Logistics Manager by email before 13:00 Daily during weekdays for distribution to the respective Carriers;
- Proactively work with Retailers to prevent dealers running-dry of wet stock;
- Monitor all orders to maximize MOQ, and minimize LOB’s;
- Resolve dealer queries and remind them of order and delivery dates;
- Deal with Transporters – queries on deliveries, pass on information about which orders have been scheduled where;
- Monitor credit limits and liase with internal stakeholders to assist to limit financial risk;
- General administration, which includes ensuring that all open Sales Orders and/or Purchase Orders within Evolution are kept current;
- Prepare, complete, PDF print/save and email purchase and sales orders to Carriers and Debtors Department;
- Prepare, complete, email and save copies of daily delivery schedules;
- Place orders for fuel on Connect System accurately;
- Deliver premium service to Retailers with regards to all aspects of Order delivery.
Required Skills
- Pastel Evolution: 1 to 2 years
- Sap: 1 to 2 years
- Client Relationship Management Experience: 1 to 2 years

Candidate Requirements
Minimum requirements:
- Matric Certificate
- Certificate in Customer Service
- Qualification in Supply Chain Management / Logistics
- Functional Skills, Key Attributes, Experience Technical and Computer Competencies
- 2 years in customer service environment
- Computer Packages/Systems: Pastel Evolution, (SAP), Microsoft Excel / Word and Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to work under pressure
