Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and organized individual to join our team as a Resort Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk.
Responsibilities:
· Greet guests warmly and provide them with information about the resort's facilities, services, and local attractions.
· Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information and billing.
· Manage reservations, cancellations, and room assignments using our reservation system.
· Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
· Process payments, including cash, credit card, and electronic transactions, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
· Assist guests with luggage, transportation arrangements, and other requests as needed.
· Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise during their stay.
· Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including stocking brochures, maps, and other informational materials.
Required Skills
- Customer Service In Hospitality Role
- Computer Software OPERA
- Hospitality Diploma OR Equivalent
Candidate Requirements
Requirements:
· Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Proficiency in using computer software, including reservation and billing systems. (OPERA)
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
· Knowledge of local attractions and amenities is a plus.
· Hospitality diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in hospitality management is desirable.
· Candidates must be from the St Lucia and/or surrounding areas.
