This unit will provide manufacturing execution systems driving the effective execution of manufacturing operations within a variety of vertical sectors such as metals and mining, food and beverage, general manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals and automotive.


The operations manager is a key senior role which involves overseeing the delivering of services in the environment as per the required contract with the client.
It is the Operations Manager's job to make sure the services are running at optimal performance to meet the SLA requirements and the expectations of customers and clients.

Other duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Line Management and Performance Management
- Service Level Management (tight SLAs)
- Management of 3rd party vendors/suppliers
- Build, maintain and improve client relationships
- Lead and drive operational goals and meetings
- Provide accurate operational feedback at reports to the SD manager
- Customer Satisfaction Management
- Facilitate and enforce change management
- Facilitate problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Improve, implement and align of MES and IIT processes, procedures and work instructions for groups
  across sites to drive quality standards in improving the operational effectiveness
- Researching new/enhanced technologies and alternative methods of efficiency
- Developing and applying the appropriate application/technical/architectural approach in the preparation of      proposals and quotations requested by the customer.
- Facilitate the development of employees by means of training and strategy roadmaps
- Managing cost
- Design, maintain and oversee operational processes and procedure that will improve productivity
- Senior Standby Duties
- Manage team relationships and dynamic with and between team members
- Facilitate recruitment of best people with HR
- Demonstrate leadership and mentoring skills
- Communicate effectively
- Responsible for following all applicable corporate, company, and regulatory policies and procedures

Qualification - Essential
- Grade 12
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science or Computer Data Processing

Qualification - Preferred
- ITIL Certification

Experience - Essential
10+ Years experience in an IT Operational Environment

Experience - Preferred
- 2+ Years of Line Management Experience
- IIT Experience
- MES Experience
