Newsclip is a national Media Monitoring company with over 30 years’ experience in media monitoring and content management; providing clients with meaningful and measurable insights.

The Internal Support Consultant will be required to effectively and efficiently co-ordinate internal sales duties.

Client liaison

  • Answer telephone calls promptly;
  • Resolve client requests, queries and problems effectively and efficiently;
  • Create or update client contracts and send quotations when necessary;
  • Follow-up with clients with outstanding contracts;
  • Follow up with the client on services reaching the end of their contract dates;
  • Be able to understand client portfolios;
  • Assist with preparing documents for client meetings;
  • Ensure courtesy calls are made to clients as predetermined by the Call Function;
  • Assist other sales consultants with queries, research and any other administrative task they request.

Product Coordination

  • Be able to navigate all systems and products efficiently and effectively in order to perform the role correctly.
  • Ensure that all warning are actioned and providing feedback timeously. 

Internal liaison

Ensure that effective inter–departmental and regional communication takes place.

  • Assisting clients with queries by contacting various departments;
  • Locating missing clips;
  • Removing irrelevant clips for clients;
  • Ensuring clip numbers and keywords are accurate;
  • Sending of invoices to clients, checking invoice accuracy and be able to explain line items to clients.

 

 

 

 

Education:

Completed Degree in Relevant Field (Public Relations, Marketing, Media or Communications). 

Experience:

• 1 - 2 years in a Sales Role with administration and training experience.
