Our Client, a Private Hospital Group has vacancies for Enrolled Nurses [All Disciplines] at their facility in Port Elizabeth
Description
Patient Care:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration).
- Administer medications (oral, topical, injections) as directed by RNs or doctors.
- Collect and record patient data (medical history, symptoms, progress reports).
- Assist with wound care and other treatments.
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families.
Collaboration:
- Work effectively with RNs, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
- Communicate clearly and concisely about patient care.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs).
- Professional Development:
- Stay up-to-date on nursing practices and guidelines.
- Participate in continuing education programs.
Minimum Requirements
- Current registration with SANC as an enrolled nurse.
- 3 years experience in all disciplines
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Compassion and empathy for patients and their families.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management.
