A luxurious, established Golf and Lifestyle Residential Estate situated in Johannesburg, boasting a Country Club with amenities such as a restaurant, bar, a gym and wellness centre, spa and hair salon, meeting rooms and conferencing facilities, is seeking a Bookkeeper, the ideal candidate is an detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual who can multitask and has a passion for finances.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum education (essential)
•BCom or equivalent with Accounting 2
Minimum applicable experience (years)
•7-10 years’ experience with bookkeeping, budget construction, preparation of financial statements and liaising with external auditors
Skills and Knowledge (essential)
•PAYE, VAT, requisite returns
•Strong presentation skills, written and oral
•Good communication and interpersonal skills
•Highly proficient in internal reporting, preparation of management accounts
•Salaries, income tax, UIF
•Accounts Reconciliation
Responsibilities
•Deal with ad hoc HR requests and actions
•Liaise with personnel agencies where appropriate
•Be an active contributor and value add member of the HOA executive team
•Oversee the leave calendar for all the employees
